Paul grew up in Markham, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in 1991. Having received his B.A. in Political Science, Paul attended the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law in Winnipeg, graduating with the class of 1994. Paul then returned home to Toronto and received his call to the Ontario Bar in 1996.
After receiving his call Paul entered private practice, opening his own general and varied practice in Toronto. After four successful years as a sole practitioner, Paul joined a reputable downtown Toronto boutique firm, where in addition to continuing his general practice, he gained substantial experience in litigation matters, including commercial, civil and construction lien. Upon the dissolution of the firm in 2004, Paul associated with a colleague to continue his practice for the next two years. Paul joined Garfin, Zeidenberg LLP in early 2007. Paul has appeared before all levels of the Ontario Court throughout the province, including the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Paul speaks fluent Greek and is an avid sportsman. In addition to playing competitive soccer, Paul also volunteers substantial time to local youth soccer both as 1st Vice President of a local youth soccer club and as an active coach at both the house league and competitive levels. Although Paul's first sporting love is soccer and he is a supporter of Toronto FC, he is an ardent fan of the Leafs and the Raptors. Paul's most important and valuable time, however, is reserved for his wife and four wonderful young children.
